Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital Relief Veterinarian
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Relief (PRN) Veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and report directly to the Regional Manager.

We are a full-service animal hospital offering a diverse range of veterinary services to help keep your cat or dog in excellent health such as wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and overnight boarding for cats. We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical services to accurately diagnose your pet’s medical condition.
Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Grass Valley is a picturesque town that embodies the essence of California's gold mining history. Renowned for its abundant gold reserves and rich underground mines, it holds the distinction of being one of the most prosperous gold mining towns in California. Its prime location, just 1.5 hours from Lake Tahoe and 1 hour from Sacramento, makes it a desirable place to live, offering residents a wide range of opportunities and amenities.
Compensation: $1,100 - $1,300

Qualifications:
- Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent surgical and dental skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
